He drew this pirate ship on oct 19th.
I asked him if he would like for me to give it texture and dimension and he said yes.
Opened it in paintshop pro. I used the freehand selection tool and selected certain areas and then I asked Anthony to choose a pattern of his choice. He started to do the flood filling himself and even the inner bevel to give certain areas dimensions.
He also learned that when using the brush tool to make lines that holding the shift key, he could make a straight line.
This is the results.
I have all his really good drawings in folder protectors in a big binder. I want to scan quite a few of them and do more of this colorizing as it really is a lot of fun.
I can also tube it and then add to my digital scrap pages. Yup, got to put that on my to-do List.
Carlina and her friend Cera, came running in to tell me there was a huge rainbow. I quickly grabbed my camera. I didn't realize it was raining and Cera had an umbrella and gave held it for me so the camera wouldn't get wet.
What a great rainbow but I just couldn't find the right place to get a good picture.
Here is one best one I took.

Love the drawings. I used to draw a lot when I was younger too. I still draw from time to time. And I LOVE that rainbow. I think it's a great shot!
