Felt Just Like Summer

Today, felt just like summer. Stino and I went downtown to have lunch at Tavern United on the rooftop. We sat at a table that didn't have an umbrella, as I didn't want any shade only the delicious feel of the sun.

Now, the food was truly not great at all. In fact, my Ceasar salad sucked big time but the Corona, I drank made up for that rotten salad. I didn't complain, as it simply was much too nice to even bother. We sat there chit chatting about Canada Pension. Of all things, to talk about but that's what we talked about. Also about if it will be possible to take a Mexico trip this Winter. We think not, but there's always hope and so I will dream that we will be able to sometime in February.

At 6:30pm we drove Stino to the airport. He went to Regina Saskatchewan to film the Football game there. No clue who is playing against whom.

After we dropped him off at the airport, the kids and I went up to Garbage Mountain. Once again, I failed to get the proper name of this place. And to think, I've been here since 1971 and never bothered to get the real name. Now that is quite odd.

By the time we got up there, it was like winter. It was so darn cold, but the sunset was so lovely that I had to take some pictures.

we are absolutely frozen in this picture

I am going to include a few more family pictures. We always take pictures of the kids on their first day of school.

This is a picture that Stino took of the trees on our street. I had never noticed that the street signs were all banged up like that.

Here's another picture of them going to school, that I took yesterday. They still don't look too excited.

On September 6, 2008, we drove down to Lockport Manitoba. It's about a 25 minute drive from our place. Another beautiful sunny warm day. Here's a few pictures I took.

Another time, I will include more photos of our Summer Vacation in Alberta and British Columbia, plus Stino's photos he took in Beijing while he was there in August for the Summer Olympics.
But for now, I will just add this one I took up top of Hoodoos, Banff Alberta. I really loved it up there and wished I could have had the chance to sit on a bench and just marvel the beauty and listen to the warm wind blowing through the trees. But, I was not alone, I had Carlina and Anthony with me. My kids, are not quiet kids. Not one tiny bit.

This is the picture I took up there.

I like to go by the name of Bella Foto Photography on my scenic pictures. Makes me feel like a world photographer lol.
Click on the Hoodoos photo to enlarge. For that matter, any picture, you click on will enlarge in a different window.
Well, it's past 2am and I really should be heading to bed but I'm really craving tea as I didn't have any earlier. I was on a mission to answer e-mails and organize my scrapkits. I did manage to do all that but I didn't have tea. But now it really is too late. I will have it with my breakfast instead.
