Wave Pool...FINALLY!

Wish I could say it was being built in Winnipeg but this wave pool is being built in Portage La Prairie Manitoba.
It's only one hour away so although I can't see us going every single month, I'm sure every other month we will head with the family there.
Here is more on the wave pool called PCU Centre.

I read it should be open September 2010.

I wonder why that a small town like Portage La Prairie can build a 28 million dollar facility like this but not Winnipeg?
