Summer Fun in Manitoba

Portage La Prairie splash Island Park
it's great for both toddlers to seniors. The water is so wonderful to play in as it is always kept warm.
There are showers (private curtained stalls) and area for picnicing check it out here

Not sure if this one will be opening up because of the flood but Selkirk park pool is a great place to take the family.
It's got a huge pool with sand all around and a canteen and shower area too. (the pool is pretty cold though)
Then outside the park is all these huge ships that are now museums.

zipline adventures which I'm not sure I want to do but the kids do http://www.hywirezipline.ca/

we really enjoyed winkler's aquatic park too
there's showers there too, I think

The ever famous Oasis Beach http://www.oasisbeach.ca/Oasis_Beach_Winnipeg/Home.html
oh but that pool is so cold
I can't stand it lol
There are showers and food available.

Steinbach's acquatic indoor pool is really nice in the summer because there is a great area for children indoors and an outdoor pool too
and huge patio outside with tables for picnicking

Lilac Resort is pretty darn awesome but a bit pricey

So this one is not in Manitoba but in the US Thief River Falls Minnesota,Seven Clans casino and waterpark but totally worth the drive. The rooms are very nice, clean and extra roomy. The waterpark is great for the whole family.

The water is warm and there is something there for everyone: a hot tub for adults, a kiddie area that starts at about 1 inch deep with children's slides, squirt guns, a pool, a tube river ride and a few waterslides.
Ask for the deluxe suite. Comes with electric fireplace, balcony and just a huge room for under 100 dollars.
Don't forget the passports.

Thanks for the lovely comments on my blog hon! I am glad you enjoyed the translation I made of Lelanie's Tutorial. She sure knows how to write and design..:-)

Oh, I am sure you are enjoying the summer while it lasts. I can't wait for our summer days as well. This time of the year is my favorite because then it's not too cold or too hot..:-)

I knew you would like the Black and White with Colour tutorial. Just like you, Lelanie is also very good at the photo-manipulations..:-)

Take care hon and have a wonderful day and summer!
